The day will kick off with the 5km Canada Day Run/Walk/Wheel and Kids dash at 9am and continue in Toddy Jones Park with mighty machines (municipal vehicles set up for kids to explore – fire trucks, etc.), hockey in the park, food trucks, splash pad, and fun throughout the day. Downtown (Richmond, Dalhousie and Murray Streets) event visitors can enjoy live music, games in the streets including our interactive curling game, open patios and local shopping.
Fort Malden will have free admission all day for visitors to experience heritage demonstrations and family activities.
In King’s Navy Yard Park, our evening concert and fireworks will end the evening. Adam Butcher performs at 6:30pm, followed by Buck Twenty at 8:30pm. Fireworks at 10:10pm over the water.
