BOUNCE Radio and Pure Country 105.7 take pride in supporting this local project.
The Rotary Club of Salmon Arm, bolstered by Shuswap Rotary Club's support, has taken on the significant task of funding a rubberized surface installation at Shaw Centre's walking track. The Rotary clubs recognized a communal need to enhance the comfort and usability of the Shaw Centre walking track, particularly during the cold, icy winters and increasingly hot, smoky summers. Their initiative will provide a safe, comfortable environment for residents of all ages to maintain a healthy exercise routine throughout the year.
It's no minor undertaking for the Rotary clubs, and they extend a call to community members—both businesses and individuals—to offer their support. Rotary has also forged partnerships with the City of Salmon Arm and the Salmon Arm Recreation Society. They have pledged to raise the necessary capital for this community-enhancing project. The project's total cost is currently estimated at $150,000.
