WCA Regina at the kikaskihtânaw Centre for Women and Families
WCA Regina’s Walk A Mile in Their Shoes is our community-focused fundraiser where we ask our supporters to step up to raise awareness on gender-based violence by stepping in to a pair of red shoes for an awareness walk through downtown Regina.
The reality is that Saskatchewan has the highest rate of domestic violence in Canada, and that 50% of Canadian women have experienced abuse.
Walkers are invited to learn more about the realities of domestic violence in Saskatchewan while stepping in to their roles as leaders, allies and change-makers. When you step up at Walk A Mile, you’re standing up against gender-based violence.
