Upper Ottawa Valley Heritage Centre
Join us for a day filled with history, entertainment, and delicious treats! The museum and all outbuildings will be open, featuring heritage demonstrations throughout the grounds, including weaving, tatting, and blacksmithing. The blacksmiths from Forged in Canada will provide a special axe-making demonstration from 1 to 2 p.m.
Enjoy the sounds of local musicians performing in the gardens, including a special musical performance by the Intermittents in the Micksburg Church at 1:00 p.m., and a variety of activities and games for children. And, of course, we will be serving up cake and ice cream with locally grown strawberries from McGregor’s Produce!
Admission is $14 per person, $7 for children (children 5 and under are admitted free of charge). Ottawa Valley Historical Society members are $12 per person. This year we are continuing our family rate of $35 (two adults and two children). Tickets can be purchased in advance at the museum office or on the day of the event. We accept cash, debit, credit, and email money transfers to curator@uovheritagecentre.ca.
Parking will be available in the museum lots, with overflow parking available at the Pembroke Mall, just across from the museum.
