Seniors' afternoons every Tuesday in June, July and August from 1-3 at the Farm Equipment Museum, Truro. Seniors' afternoons are meant to give people a chance to get out of the house and come meet new people and learn new things. For example, everyone is more than welcome to come and learn how to hook a rug or quilt, but they are also free to bring their own hand work whether that is knitting, embroidery, crochet, cross stitch, etc and enjoy the company of the Creation Cafe ladies. In addition, people coming can have the chance to learn about making and painting birdhouses or our tractor seats. We also have nostalgic games like crokinole and checkers, along with complimentary tea and coffee.
