A 40 year veteran of the Country Music industry, and CCMA Hall of Fame member. While not on air, or travelling, Jason enjoys his time with his wife Terrine and 2 children in Minesing In addition to being awarded the 2026 CCMA Personality of the Year award, Jason has received 2 Gold, and 2 Platinum sales awards, 2 CCMA Male Artist of the Year Award, CMA Global Artist Award, and 3 x CCMA Group the Year Awards with his band The Road Hammers.

Carey lives near Georgian Bay, where the seasons dictate the activities. In the summer, you’ll find Carey at the beach, around a bonfire, or attempting to improve a golf game that - let’s be honest - is still a work in progress. Winter is for snowshoeing, playing Scrabble, and relaxing in a hot tub under the stars on a bitterly cold night. Travel is more than a getaway - it’s an opportunity to explore history, experience different cultures, and, of course, enjoy the local food and wine (purely for research purposes). In the end, life is about great moments with good people, and maybe one more glass of wine.
